Seminar on the Role of Prominent Figures in the Formation of Kyrgyz Statehood Held at the Kyrgyzstan Islamic University A seminar dedicated to recognizing the historical contribution and role of prominent figures who laid the foundations for the formation and development of modern Kyrgyz statehood was held at the Kyrgyzstan Islamic University. The main objective of the event was to provide students with comprehensive information about the history of the formation of Kyrgyz statehood, its stages of development, as well as the lives and activities of historical figures who made a significant contribution to laying the foundations of the state. The seminar was conducted by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor A.O. Ormushev. During the event, important issues related to the history of the formation of Kyrgyz statehood were discussed in detail. Students were provided with information about the historical foundations of Kyrgyz statehood, as well as the contributions of prominent state and public figures to the political and social development of the country. Particular attention was paid to the activities of such prominent historical figures as Yusup Abdrakhmanov, Ishenaly Arabaev, Imanaly Aidarbekov, and Abdykerim Sydykov, who made significant contributions to the formation of Kyrgyz statehood. This discussion aimed to strengthen students’ historical memory and promote their national awareness. In addition, students learned about the major periods in the development of the Kyrgyz state, the period of perestroika, and the historical changes that took place during the years of independence. The importance of widely disseminating documentary films and historical materials on these topics was also emphasized. During the seminar, students asked questions of interest to them and took part in a discussion on the role of historical figures in the formation of statehood. At the conclusion of the event, it was emphasized that a deep understanding of the history of Kyrgyz statehood, recognition of the contributions of prominent historical figures, and the transmission of their historical legacy to future generations are important for fostering patriotism and civic responsibility among young people. The Kyrgyzstan Islamic University regularly holds educational and awareness-raising events of this kind aimed at expanding students’ historical knowledge, strengthening national awareness, and fostering a patriotic younger generation.
